Early Finishers

We all have students that finish early and ask what to do next.  I usually have students read and take AR test.  I found a post on pinterest and tweaked it for my needs.  I used Crystal Light containers, large popsicle sticks, and Modge Podge.  I typed up activities for the students to do and created a picture for the container.  I’m Done activities

I started off by using a paper cutter to cut the activities into strips.

I labeled the back of the popsicle sticks with AM and PM.  Then I labeled the top of the containers AM and PM.  This way the students will know which stick goes into which container.

Next, I glued the label on the container using Modge Podge.

Lastly, I glued the paper strips onto the sticks.  I painted one layer of Modge Podge on the stick and laid the paper on top.  Then, I painted a layer of Modge Podge top of the paper strip.  I paint a second layer of Modge Podge on all the sticks.

FINISHED PRODUCT!!!!!  Please let me know if you come up with any other activities.  I’d love to add to my list.  Enjoy!
